At Montefiore, DOING MORE℠ means building on a history of firsts to create the future of healthcare. For over 100 years, we’ve been pushing the boundaries of medicine with innovations, such as the intravenous cardiac pacemaker and one of the nation’s first pediatric kidney transplants. As we continue to move forward, we seek professionals who want to join our team of leaders and trailblazers who will advance the health of our communities in Westchester, the Hudson Valley and the Bronx.
The Department of Surgery at The Albert Einstein School of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center seeks a full-time, tenure-track Investigator at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor. Successful candidates will be MD investigators or PhDs with a background in the surgical disciplines. A strong research background with current funding would be desirable. Development of a research team with a track record of teambuilding and collaboration is ideal. The successful candidate should have demonstrated success in original research and is expected to develop and maintain a robust, extramurally-funded research program. This is an outstanding opportunity in an expanding, highly collaborative and multidisciplinary research environment with a well-aligned Medical School, Medical Center and Cancer Center.
Positions offer excellent benefits and the opportunity to be part of a top notch team of surgeons.
