The Morsani College of Medicine seeks applicants for a full-time, Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position in the Division of Anatomy, Department of Pathology and Cell Biology. The Department of Pathology and Cell Biology is both a clinical and basic science department. Instructional programs in the Department include teaching medical students, graduate students in master’s and doctoral programs and post-doctoral fellows. The Department also has an accredited Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency training program.

Individuals trained in the anatomical sciences and who are interested in a career primarily devoted to education are encouraged to apply. Applications will be considered from candidates with a PhD, MD, or DO with a strong background and demonstrated excellence in the teaching of gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, embryology and/or histology. Preference will be given to candidates that demonstrate skills in developing, implementing and evaluating innovative teaching methods and curriculum within the disciplines of anatomy. Research development and innovation are part of the core mission of the Morsani College of Medicine and the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology would work to provide a supportive research environment, whether through laboratory space or start-up funds, for candidates with demonstrable anatomy research efforts evidenced by external funding and/or peer-reviewed publications.
