The
Department of Emergency Medicine within The Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in the University at Buffalo is in need of a PhD to join the faculty.
This position is contingent on grant funding. It is currently funded by a grant from OASAS. This is a multi-disciplinary project that incorporates both clinical and research processes surrounding addiction medicine. The candidate will be required to identify and pursue sources of ongoing funding for Emergency Medicine and/or Addiction based research.
We have a diverse group that includes many academically accomplished faculty that draw their experience from 8 Western New York hospitals providing an excellent base of patients for potential studies and many potential research partners within our local EMS community. The ability to work with multi-faceted Emergency Medicine faculty and work as a mentor to our 48 residents is required.
